Playing with Cyanotype on Wood
This summer I decided to try cyanotype on a new medium: natural wood. I’ve been experimenting with wood frames and panels, printing botanical shadows directly onto the wood itself with what I think, are spectacular results. The wildflower blooms of summer- poppies, clover ,Queen Anne’s lace, roses and their leaves, ferns, lavender, wild grasses- all combine to create such a beautiful imprint of the season.
